The Nori Roll – The Smartest (and Cleanest) Way to Feed Seaweed
Designed by Kris Cleven | TurbulentFlowDesign
Loose bits of nori clogging your filters? Trouble with suction cups or clips that come loose? With the Nori Roll, that's a thing of the past! This smart and practical nori feeder is specially designed for saltwater enthusiasts who like to keep things simple, clean, and fish-friendly.
Herbivorous fish such as surgeonfish, angelfish, and butterflyfish can graze to their heart's content without your aquarium turning into nori soup.
It's that easy:
- Take a standard 7.5 inch sheet of nori – fold it in half or cut it in half.
- Align the inner and outer rings of the feeder.
- Stick the seaweed in between and...
- Turn the outer ring to smoothly roll up the sheet. Done!
No mess, no loose bits, just tightly lined. Even if you're still half asleep in the morning, you can do this with two fingers in your reef.
Slow nibbling = happier fish
Because the nori roll holds the seaweed firmly in place, your fish really have to work for it. That might sound a bit harsh, but it's actually healthy! This way, you mimic their natural grazing behavior. No greedy gulps, just leisurely nibbling – which means less stress and healthier fish.
No rust, no worries
The strong magnet keeps the feeder securely in place, and the rubber coating protects it from rust. Perfect for use in saltwater, without worrying about corrosion or loose parts.
